What is discharge?
Your body produces this discharge to clean and moisten your vagina. And it's a good thing it does, because if the vaginal lining stayed dry, you could get infections.
Clear or white colored
This is totally normal! Every girl gets this.
Clear and stretchy: that just means you're ovulating. You aren't pregnant!
Clear and watery: Happens during different times of your cycle. It can be very heavy after ovulating.

Yellow/Green
Yellow or green, lumpy discharge could mean that you have an infection. If it has a bad odor, then there's an even bigger chance of infection.
Brown
This usually happen right after you end your period, since it is 'cleaning out' the vagina. Old blood is a brown color.
Spotting
This may occur when you are ovulating. If you see spots of blood, then it is spotting. Otherwise it may be a light period or brown discharge.
Fixing discharge
You can't really get rid of discharge. But you can "catch" it by wearing a pantiliner daily, or just on the days that you have a heavy flow. I recommend UbyKotex liners!
